| Publisher Description: The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is providing $2 million to support Ecuador's efforts to strengthen the country's capacity to adapt to climate change. Ecuador's glacier-dependent water system, its biodiversity, and its rugged terrain make it highly vulnerable to climate change impacts. The program will provide technical assistance, tools, and information to identify vulnerabilities and climate risks in key areas of the country, and to identify and adjust critical policies and procedures to address vulnerabilities.
