Publisher Description:
We are called to be fishers and hunters. YaHWeH promised through the Prophet Jeremiah that He himself would seek out the lost sheep of Israel; it is written that he would send out fishers and hunters to seek them out; YaHWeH did this through Messiah, his apostles and through us. As fishers and hunters, it is our job to declare the good news and restoration of all Israel. We are to have the heart of YaHWeH for our lost brethren; as the Father is full of grace and mercy, so we are to go forth full of grace and mercy; as YaHWeH was and is patient and long suffering with us, so we are to reflect the same patience and long suffering character of our Father. YaHWeH is not willing that anyone should perish; also we should not be willing that any should perish. We seem to lose patience with our Christian brethren pretty quickly; we take their rejection of the truth too personally, as if it was us who they were rejecting. We have been known to cut off fellowship with our Christian brethren; we have been known to mock and criticize our Christian brethren; we have been guilty of abusing them with the Torah, instead of healing them with the Torah. We too easily forget that we were as they are. We have too much sympathy and not enough empathy. I am not suggesting we should compromise the truth, but we can certainly learn to give our brethren sips, instead of drowning them with the water of life. We can condemn pagan ways, without condemning our brethren who are blind to those pagan ways. "Let My People Go"
