She served as a state legislator in New Jersey for over a decade, working on a range of initiatives to provide all citizens with powerful advocacy tools. She is a graduate of Harvard, with an MBA from Columbia and a PhD from New York University. She is also the author of Be Your Own Lobbyist, Government Grief, Crony Capitalists in Our Backyards, and a three-volume encyclopedia Dirty Deals? An Encyclopedia of Lobbying, Political Influence, and Corruption.
