Publisher Description:
Trono's Mysterious Journey is about a Neanderthal Chief's son who goes off on a journey of discovery. Along the way Trono discovers the truth about the Legend of Koomara who is believed to be a man who can turn into different creatures and help lone wanderers when they get into dangerous situations. Trono has a lame leg but can still hunt very well. He meets up with a group of Homo-Sapiens who accept him and where he also finds a mate and joins with her people. She is likes what Trono does and goes with him on his strange journey of discovery where they encounter great dangers and meet up with a wandering boy who joins them. Trono has heard about a legend of a wandering boy and can't make his mind up if the young man who has joined them is the one of the legend. He calls himself, Dalan and has a very inventive mind. Along their way they find a new group of people who are very advanced and live beneath the ground. Dalan falls in love with their leaders daughter and decides to stay with them. Trono and Naom, carry on their way and eventually get back to Naom's people with the new ideas they have learned on their way. Dalan showed them a new weapon that made their hunting much more effective and helps them in dangerous situations. Trono still wonders if Dalan is the legendry wandering boy, even though he stayed with the underground race of people. Trono is concerned about his people accepting Naom, which bothers him a great deal. In Naom's people, women are allowed to hunt with spears and slings, this is not so with Trono's people, only men are allowed to hunt and he knows it will be a contention and hopes his father can accept the changes that Naom's people have to offer. Her people don't live in caves as Trono's do. They live in home-made houses made from a wood frame and animal skin coverings. Trono knows that if his people don't join with Naom's, they will eventually die out of existence, but can he convince them to join with Naom's people? This story has many twists and turns and will have you wondering what is going to happen next.
