Publisher Description:
Hunt and his men stay busy tracking bank robbers and bringing them to justice while trying to avoid riding into a trap. Hunt is desperate to find a larger home for his growing family and is shocked to find that the home he desperately wants to buy was just sold to his good friend Charles. Hunt sends two of his best men to the town of Segundo to arrest a crazed man that thinks he is a reincarnated Roman Emperor. The crazed man's goal is to conquer every town in the world to eradicate sin and evil from the world. Jared and Clover are attacked by Indians and are forced to take refuge on a rocky cliff. On the third day they run out of water, food, and are low on ammo when Jared is struck by an arrow. They notice a column of over 100 Indians riding to join their friends, and they know that their time is almost up. Only a miracle could save them now. Hunt sends out a search party to find the missing men, and end up being attacked by Indians and get pinned down in a small cove. Hunt's men investigate a case of missing cattle and discover a rancher consumed with hatred for his neighbor. Hunt is forced to deal with numerous challenges, a cowboy dragging a man through the streets of Denver, a pickpocket thief, robbers, and murderers while dealing with a sick wife and the need of a larger, more comfortable home for his growing family.
