The stories of their youth as they grew up on their family farms in the Salinas Valley, and the events, although somewhat obscure after all these years, of their WWII combat as U.S. Army snipers along the Burma Road, make for fascinating reading. I hope you enjoy the three stories, Between the World Wars in Rio Rincon, Night of the Burma Road Conflict 1941-1942, and The Nineteen Fifties in Rio Rincon (Valle Rincon) as much as I did writing them. |
