The young ambitious star of this book called Toot Carman works in his father's garage chariot repair shop in the town centre of Thebes, but when his father decides to take a long vacation in Britani Toot is left in charge of the garage. Unfortunately all hell breaks loose when he decides to turn the Toot and Carman garage into a night club and gambling casino renting out chariots on the side for weddings and funerals.
