Publisher Description:
On Christmas Eve, in the year 2000, at Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, in Canada three little characters were introduced to three year old Mackenzie when Mormor, also known as his grandmother, conjured up the vision for her grandson's entertainment and distraction from his overexcitement about Christmas. Mormor snuggled down with her grandson and in whispery voice began. "How old are they?" Mackenzie interrupted. "Well, hmm," Mormor thought awhile, "They are as old as they need or want to be. They can't remember how old they are or where they came from Two and a half years later, Emma, Mackenzie's sister, was born. Mormor's imaginary characters lived on and they became friends with her grandchildren, who loved to tell her about their adventures as well. OH, HO, and BO are about as tall as a pointer finger. They look for adventure and copy fun things normal size people do. When they met they knew their names which they agreed to shorten. OH, is a boy whose true name is Ophraim and is a worrier, one who likes to follow others. He asks many questions and says 'oh' a Lot. HO, is a girl whose true name is Honor, the thinker of the three and uses her thoughts before she goes ahead with any adventure. BO, is a boy whose true name is Boris and he is rough, tough, and eager to go anywhere and do anything.
