Publisher Description:
The title I chose for this book is a redefinition of the once popular phrase, "Trip the light fantastic." The original meaning meant 'to dance in a provocative or fantastic manner'. This saying was popular with the disco (discotheque) music and dance moves of the 1970's. Dance halls during the time were complemented by colorful flashing lights bouncing off mirrored globes. It was also the era when Donald Trump made his debut as a millionaire Manhattan real estate developer. One might imagine that 'The Donald' is a contestant in a dance contest, similar to those seen on the 1977 classic dance movie, 'Saturday Night Fever'. During a brutal combination of dance moves between various contestants, competitors were removed by roving judges one by one until only one person or couple remained on the dance floor. With this analogy in mind, 'Trumping the Right Fantastic' serves to demonstrate how Mr. Trump 'danced' or engaged his Conservative Right competitors one by one until he dominated them in a fantastic fashion.Donald John Trump is the first person in history to become the Republican Party's nominee for U.S. President without any prior government or military experience. As a Real estate magnate, Author, Reality Television Star, and Entrepreneur, 'The Donald' already had a 'huge' following. His popularity and willingness to air his personal opinions attracts thousands of attendees to his wildly popular Presidential Campaign Rallies. Who would have ever thought that so many people would flock to a political event as enthusiastically as one would attend a rock concert? Donald Trump created a political movement, which won him tens of millions of fans across America and around the world. He actually overwhelmed established politicians by the popular vote of the people rather than the 'bought' support of state delegates. One by one, and state by state he defeated fellow Republican Presidential Candidates such as New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, Dr. Ben Carson, Governor Jeb Bush, Governor Mike Huckabee, and others who had held, or are holding political offices. Near the end of the Republican Presidential Primary Election, only Texas Senator Ted Cruz, and Ohio Governor John Kasich remained. However, after Donald Trump gained enough votes to become the Republican Presidential Nominee, there was little else for Trump's remaining competitors to do but suspend their candidacy. Part I of my book series of "Trumping the Right Fantastic," is dedicated to the emergence of our first non-politician Presidential Candidate, Donald J. Trump, the struggles and victories of his campaign, and what his presidency will mean for the average American. Donald Trump has compared our crumbling infrastructure to that of a Third World Country. I live in a Third World Country, and I can assure you - you do not want to surrender America's freedom and liberties to live in a depressed economy, which suppresses innovation, and reduces prosperity for hard-working citizens. Many Peruvians have asked me, "Why don't you live in the United States?" Numerous Peruvian Citizens have applied for a U.S. Visa, and failed to receive them after multiple attempts. Our government has made it easy to enter the United States illegally, howbeit difficult and expensive to enter legally. I often confess to them that my retirement income is insufficient to support my family as well as I can support them here in Peru. I also express to them my love for the culture and people of Peru. I hope to have a dual (U.S./Peru) citizenship one day. Within this book I will present a Third-World perspective to our 2016 Presidential Election. This may be our last opportunity, as Americans, to vote a person into office who wants to make America prosperous once more. We need Donald J. Trump and Mike Pence to help us 'Make America Great Again." America First
