Publisher Description:
Between Ice and Spirit fits into the Sex and Sacrament element of the Kaleidoscope Project. It raises the spiritual nature of our universal humanity above the horrid inhumanity in the political landscape, that becomes increasingly a scene of insanity, such as the depopulation ideology and its derivatives in science perversion. When human living counts for so little in value that the elimination of six billion people under the depopulation dogma is hailed as the panacea for the future, a radically uplifted vista of the beauty of the human being and human culture, has the potential to inspire a new look at our humanity. While the thread of the story touches on the Vedic era and its antihuman mythologies in ancient India, both religious and political in nature, as an opening background, it becomes dramatically intertwined with the spiritual power of renaissance culture, scientifically, spiritually, and musically. As the story unfolds, it becomes a love story with a universal dimension that overlays the inhuman darkness with a light from the soul. The love story takes over the foreground and stages a radically new exploration that becomes evermore focused onto the precious in our humanity where sex comes to light as just another element of the goodness of living, intertwined with love, music, joy, and an elevating passion for all that is good and beautiful in human existence, and is divinely human. The frame of the story is a fictional, international peace conference organized by the youth of the world, convened in Russia in a city on the Black Sea. The story presented here comprises a substantial part of my novel, The Ice Age Challenge, (Book 2) of my epic series of novels The Lodging for the Rose. The series is published by Cygni Communications Ltd, BC, Canada. Rolf A. F. Witzsche (www.ice-age-ahead-iaa.ca)
