Publisher Description:
The Egyptian Hieroglyphs are more than just a picture. They are an actual text to be translated. It is Joseph Smith's manner of translating the Book of Abraham, using 6 different translation types, that got me to reverse engineer Joseph's work to not only reproduce his translations, but give a fuller translation of the facsimiles. This practice then taught me how to apply it to other Egyptian texts and to the Paleo-Alphabets. Egyptologists know Egyptian only because of the Rosetta Stone from 196BCE. This is at least 3000 years after the first known evidence of the Egyptian language. There is obviously more to Egyptian than the Greeks knew. And after learning Joseph's manner of translation, decipherment just opened wide and I found that I could use his pattern of translation on any Egyptian text. In this book I review Joseph Smith's translation types then apply them one at a time to the Hieroglyph. The combination of all 6 types translates into a fuller text.
