Publisher Description: Femto is a place in time, where the main character has the opportunity to live again after he has been killed by a lightning strike. In this new stage, as a ghost, he discovers that death is not the end and that it is only the beginning. He has been given the opportunity to see with his own eyes all the mysteries of the universe and of the spiritual world, specially time and space.Femto is divided in small chapters, almost vignettes. The chapters are named after units of the metric system. Half of the story takes place in a small village in Guanajuato, Mexico, while the other half takes place in the United States, in San Diego, California. It is written in Spanish because it is my native language. The word Femto and the names of the other chapters, are spelled the same way in Spanish and English, so the meaning for those words are the same in both languages.Thank you for giving me the opportunity to tell you my story, which is also the story of the people that I grew up with. I wrote this as a tribute and as a gratitude for all those things that they taught me as I was growing up.BGS |
