Publisher Description:
I am excited to announce my second English memoir is published. I appropriate everyone who has encouraged me in my life.Years ago, I started to have some strange medical problems. Every day, I feel too exhausted to do anything. It's hard to imagine that I could not tie my shoes, button my sweater, type computer keyboard, and open a door. The simplest acts of opening and closing door are now beyond me. I do not know how long this situation will last. It may take a few more years for me to recover. I am so disappointed because this is not what a wife or a mom or an engineer wants to experience. I have to take time off from my job to be stuck in the home. I totally lost freedom and needed someone to take care of me every day. Family members accompanied me to see doctors and try to find what was wrong. However, the doctors could not help me. I started to live far away from the outside world. One day, I got a smart mobile phone and found the on-screen keyboard was very easy to type characters. I was happy that I could keep writing a diary, an article, and a book about past stories. Nothing of interest happened in the home expect writing. I wanted to write about my experiences in China, Singapore, Canada, and the US. Especially, I mentioned a trip I have taken to Miami, which has taken a long time for me to prepare because I was a lower energy lady. A lot of people helped me during my trip. That is grateful. I mentioned my friend on Facebook, who was a single mother. She was accompanied by her daughter living overseas. I have sent many messages to encourage her to be stronger in a hard time. I mentioned the story of the 55th Academic Reward Winner. He never gave up his pursuit and had kept seeking for 22 years and finally won the reward. The people mentioned in the stories had experienced hardship, but they did not wait storms pass instead of dancing in the rain. They are all my role models.I was lucky to have time to write. Without sickness, I would never have gotten around to it. My writing also helped me escape from the loneliness.liliyinglzh@gmail.com
