Publisher Description: In this second quest of Sir Gawain's, he embarks on a mission to recapture Guinevere's son, Arthur, who has been kidnapped by the ex general of Mordred's army and set himself up in a castle near to the Convent where Guinevere now lives and where she has brought up Arthur, her son that came from her betrayal to Arthur by Sir Lancelot. Sir Gawain is called upon to go and rescue Arthur. Merlin later joins their quest as he is on a mission too. Mordred's General is also being helped by an evil wizard called Karamoo, it is he who Merlin is after. Sir Gawain meets up and joins forces to both their ends. The story takes on a different twist when Karamoo leads Sir Gawain, Merlin and two of Sir Gawain's knights into a parallel universe by magical means. Whilst there, they find many large and ferocious creatures and a lost tribe of people whom they befriend. After a great battle with Karamoo, Merlin eventually, with Sir Gawain's help, defeats Karamoo and Arthur is brought back to his mother. When Sir Gawain returns to his father's castle, a great surprise awaits him. This story will have you wondering what is going to happen next. It is filled with danger and magic at every turn. |
