Publisher Description:
Whilst riding in the forest north of his castle, King Gawain experiences an Earthquake that throws him from his horse, Arconia. He is knocked unconscious and when he comes round, he finds himself in an unknown place and realises that he has been projected through time to an unknown land. He soon finds out that he is in mortal danger and then also discovers he hasn't got his sword or any other weapons with him. Arconia is nowhere to be seen either. He is lost and worried. As he tries to explore his new environment, he is captured by two evil looking monster creatures that are like men with two feet and arms, but that is where the characteristics end. He is taken to a fortress and tortured in his mind with mine probes and has to convince to voice talking to him that he is not a spy. He is eventually taken to a compound where many other men are being kept prisoner and is left at their mercy as a stranger. One of these forlorn looking men take him to their wise man called Nuhar who explains where he is. He is told that they are waiting for a great warrior to help them break free and destroy the evil that has captured their people. He has to go on a mission and escapes the compound with two other men and go to the sacred mountain where they will be given powers to help destroy these alien creatures. After a long journey to the Sacred mountain and back, they come back to their people and a war breaks out and they destroy their aliens invaders and are eventually free again after many generations. Kind Gawain once more becomes the hero.
