Publisher Description:
People who are born with silver spoon in their mouth will find it very difficult to understand or comprehend this title: Being An African Child: From Grass to Grace (Paying The Golden Price). For people in developed world it is only akin to those common flashes in the TV screen that describe the pathetic conditions of people in developing world. Many children in developed world have been taught to believe that Africans are monkeys, live on trees, eat bananas. Hence, when they see African migrants in their midst their mind flash back. They have ran away from their trees to occupy our places and territories. Does it mean there are no more trees and bananas in Africa. You cannot blame them. When African leaders owe the best building and highest individual bank account in their countries (unknown to the kiddies), all stolen from those countries with trees and bananas. When 1 million people die in Africa their leaders will report that only half a human being lost their lives while trying to be ruddy and grumpy. While President Obama and President Putin are seen filling their own tanks at same price with citizens from their salaries, African Presidents have standby Jumbo States in all states of the country standing idle for 365 days a year waiting to take them to the toilets and bathrooms. What is the connection between a rich and well fed man with a poor, hungry and angry man. When the later talks, it is "don't mind him". Am I to blame?. Did I make him poor, sick, angry and sad. He should die and leave us and children to enjoy our life. African leaders now joke with their hungry and poor citizens as those suffering from stomach infrastructure. It is only in Africa that one dies and resurrects one billion seconds of his life on the planet-earth. Hence, being an African child is a true story of me as partaker of the cross of Africa. The cross of glory. The cross should never be experienced, nor told by any human being on this planet. But, it must be told as experienced. Thanks to Supreme God Almighty who made it possible.
