Publisher Description: The Hudson Hill Golden Age quilters and other local quilters have come together to support the efforts of Savannah State University students and the Center for the Study of African and African Diaspora Museums and Communities (CFSAADMC) members' research of the African American Museums Association (AAMA) 1983 Blacks in Museums Directory. The results are presented in an exhibition at selected historic sites throughout Savannah. The Savannah participant in the directory was the Kiah Museum. This museum is closed and is in a state of deterioration so the Friends of the Kiah Museum invites all to share in a "Kiah Museum Day of Remembrance" for this museum. |
