| Publisher Description: The occasional shadow will pass over all us at sometime and we will stand within it, viewing the world through the gloom. Generally the shadows pass and life refocuses and the light prevails. At other times, for some people the shadows remain shading what they think, what they feel, what they believe, how they perceive the world, events and others. Shadowed therefore seemed to be an appropriate word to describe the general sense and mood of these poems. Though their subject matter, form, length and themes are different they reflect a point of view and mindset that has remained remarkably unchanged over an entire adult lifetime.
