| Publisher Description: A family cemetery located at the corner of Vaughan and Bridge (Danforth) Streets in use in 1811, it was purchased by the city in 1829 and remained open until 1888. Although lots and family plots burials continued there are few burials after 1910. At the time of the first publication of this book in 1982 the cemetery suffered from the ravages of vandalism and time and was sorely neglected. |
