Publisher Description:
Our schools teach facts but they don't teach life skills such as how to balance a checkbook, repair a toaster, cook an egg, or how to go on a date. Dr. Asher's Super School of the 21st Century addresses a HUGE issue that is not yet on the radar for most educators. Our children need life skills to survive in a complex industrial society. His book includes valuable skills appealing to every student such as speed reading, basic medicine and basic law to thrive in a competitive global world, handling money, math and science that make sense, minor household repairs, cooking for boys and girls, how to build successful personal relationships, sports that every student can enjoy for a lifetime, and much more Nothing is included in The Super School of the 21st Century that does not contribute to future adult work or gracious adult living. Must reading for presidential advisors of every industrial nation Use this book to inspire and guide your PTA and school board in a new direction.
