Contributor Bio(s): Burt, William: - William Burt is a naturalist, photographer, and writer with a passion for wild places and elusive birds -- especially marshes and the shy birds within. His photographs and stories have appeared in Smithsonian, Audubon, National Wildlife, and other magazines. Author of three previous illustrated books on elusive birds, Burt has also lectured and exhibited in museums nationwide. He lives in Lyme, Connecticut.
