Contributor Bio(s): Laszlo, Chris: - Chris Laszlo is partner and co-founder of Sustainable Value Partners, Inc., a firm specializing in creating shareholder value through corporate responsibility. For nearly ten years, Chris was an executive of Lafarge S.A., a world leader in building materials, holding positions as head of strategy, general manager of a manufacturing subsidiary and vice president of business development. Prior to that he spent 5 years with Deloitte & Touche, where he consulted to global industry leaders such as Dupont, Toshiba, Avon Products and Renault on strategy.

He received his Ph.D. with distinction in Economics and Management Science from the University of Paris, a Masters in Economics from Columbia University and a B.A. (Honors) from Swarthmore College. He has authored management books including Large Scale Organizational Change: An Executive's Guide (with Jean-Francois Laugel, Butterworth-Heinemann, 2000) and The Insight Edge: An Introduction to the Theory and Practice of Evolutionary Management (with Ervin Laszlo, Quorum Books, 1997).
