| Publisher Description: Patrick Fairbairn (1805-1874) studied at Edinburgh University from 1818 to 1826. In 1853 he was appointed to be Chair of Theology in Aberdeen, and in 1856 became Principal of Free Church College in Glasgow. His published works include his 1845 'Typology of Scripture' as well as his posthumous 'Pastoral Theology'. |
