Contributor Bio(s): Patnode, Gerry: - A native of Baltimore City, Dr. Gerald R. Patnode, Jr. has been an active strategic management consultant with an emphasis in political campaign operations for both major political parties. His major contributions have been in issue analysis, candidate positioning, campaign management and leadership mentoring. In addition to candidate work, he has also worked as the political pollster and on air analyst for the NBC-TV and ABC-TV affiliates in Baltimore. His consulting expertise has been gained through more than thirty years of progressive experience in developing political and business strategy for various organizations and serving in senior political appointed positions at the Federal, State and local level. He at various time ran for political office and was a candidate for the U.S. Senate. He has been a resource consultant for the Maryland Small Business Development Center and the Department of Economic Development for both the State of Maryland and Pennsylvania. He has served on the Economic Development Task Forces of both Baltimore County MD and the Adams County, PA. In addition to consulting, Dr. Patnode's serves as a management and marketing professor with the Department of Business and Management at the York College of Pennsylvania. His education includes his Doctorate in Organizational Leadership and Change from the Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, CA. a MBA from the Maryland University System, a MS in Marketing Science from Temple University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Old Dominion University.
