Prior to that time, his writing was done for the benefit of corporate executives in the various financial management roles he held throughout his 40 year career. He is a CPA, holds a BS Degree in Business and an MBA Degree, both from Mississippi State University. After a career that saw him located in Birmingham, Chicago, Little Rock, and Memphis, he finally settled back into his hometown of Columbus, Mississippi with his wife, Marilynn. They are parents to three children, all married, away from home and off the payroll. His main enjoyments are golf, genealogy, writing and grandchildren of which he and Marilynn have four.so far. Mason's Link is his second novel. His first book, The Road from Caledonia to Canisy, chronicled his Father's journey through World War II.
