* Not available - Not in print at this time *Annotation: The book you hold in your hands -- second in the "Tom Corbett" series by "Carey Rockwell" -- is something special. Oh, it was a work made for hire, and after it had its day, even the author (whoever he was in real life) forgot he'd done it. But believe it or not, this book is really pretty neat. It's the tale of three young space cadets of the Solar Guard: it starts with space maneuvers and a mock attack, and run through complications on places like Venus and Tara. Cool stuff! Read it now!

Contributor Bio(s): Rockwell, Carey: - "Written by unknown authors, under the pseudonym Carey Rockwell, with Willy Ley as technical advisor. Based upon the Tom Corbett - Space Cadet stories that were depicted in television, radio, books, comic books, comic strips and other media in the 1950s. The stories followed the adventures of Corbett, Astro, originally Roger Manning and later T.J. Thistle, cadets at the Space Academy as they train to become members of the Solar Guard.
