Contributor Bio(s): Moore, Robert J.: - Robert J. Moore is a former high school American history teacher. Mr. Moore also served for eight seasons as an interpretive specialist for the U.S. Forest Service in Arizona. His duties included research preparation and set up of museum-style displays for the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests visitors center. His display on the CCC evolved into his first book, The Civilian Conservation Corps in Arizona s Rim Country. His CCC work has also appeared in the Journal of Arizona History and the Wisconsin Magazine of History. Since moving to Wisconsin, Mr. Moore has continued to research CCC history with a special focus on Devil s Lake. He has also served as a historical consultant to the Mount Horeb Area Historical Society and Wisconsin Public Television (Madison). He currently lives and teaches in Verona, Wisconsin. |
