Contributor Bio(s): Beagle, Peter S.: - Peter Soyer Beagle is the internationally bestselling and much-beloved author of numerous classic fantasy novels and collections, including The Last Unicorn, Tamsin, The Line Between, Summerlong, and In Calabria. He is the editor of The Secret History of Fantasy and the co-editor of The Urban Fantasy Anthology. Beagle has written widely for both stage and screen, including the screenplay adaptations for The Last Unicorn and the animated film of The Lord of the Rings and the acclaimed "Sarek" episode of Star Trek. As one of the fantasy genre's most-lauded authors, Beagle is the recipient of the Hugo, Nebula, Mythopoeic, and Locus awards, as well as the Grand Prix de l'Imaginaire. He has also been honored with the World Fantasy Lifetime Achievement Award and the Inkpot Award from Comic-Con. Beagle lives in Richmond, California, where he is working on too many projects to even begin to name.Fisher, Eugene: - Eugene Fischerstudied physics at Trinity University. He is a graduate of both the Iowa Writers' Workshop and the Clarion Writers' Workshop in San Diego. His writing has appeared in Asimov's and Strange Horizons. His novella, "The New Mother" won the James Tiptree Award in 2016 and was also nominated for the Nebula and Sturgeon Awards. As an adjunct professor at the University of Iowa, he created an undergraduate course on Writing and Reading Science Fiction. He lives in Austin, Texas where he helped create a science fiction writing summer camp for children.Bolander, Brooke: - Brooke Bolander is a short story writer who admits she "writes weird things of indeterminate genre." She is a self-professed admirer of Peter S. Beagle, and her stories have appeared in Lightspeed, Strange Horizons, and the anthology Aliens: Recent Encounters.
