Contributor Bio(s): Probst, Erika Bracken: - Erika Bracken Probst was born in the small, rural town of Petersburg, Alaska, nestled in the heart of Southeast Alaska. It was here that she learned the value of community and the importance of neighbors. She has lived in the Portland, Oregon area for over 20 years, where she is a Nurse Educator and keeps busy with her two young sons. She and her husband enjoy exploring the outdoors with their family and can often be found hiking, biking, or visiting with neighbors.
