But something amazing was happening. Lily was not staying in her hospital room. She would find herself in a beautiful garden talking to a local potter. He would ask Lily questions about what was going on in her world. They would talk for hours and she even got to see her grandpa whom she had not seen since he went to Heaven. Was Lily losing her mind? Was the pain and prospect of a life in a coma too much to bear? Or was Lily slowing dying, slipping away little by little? Was she really slipping into Heaven? The author, Anna Lewis, is an educator, speaker, minister, and professional artist. She is active in her community and ministers with her husband Ben. They make their home in Fort Smith, Arkansas along with their Goldendoodle, Precious. |
