Publisher Description:
The heritage of the saints is the presence of the Holy Spirit. The Heritage of Saints delves into Jesus Christ's mighty gift to mankind: the Holy Spirit. As Lockyer eloquently explains, every believer is rich with the abundance of the Spirit in His sevenfold manifestation: the baptism, the gift, the indwelling, the anointing, the sealing, the pledge, and the in-filling.
Although an understanding of the Spirit and His work is essential for spiritual growth, His presence throughout the Scripture can be overlooked by the believer. To remedy that, Lockyer traces the Spirit's presence, role, and activity in the Bible and practically guides the reader in how to do the same.
Believers who are eager to learn more about their inheritance will appreciate Lockyer's timeless insights on the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.

Contributor Bio(s): Lockyer, Herbert: - DR. HERBERT LOCKYER (1886-1984) was a preacher and Bible teacher, and the author of more than fifty books. His best-known titles include All the Men of the Bible and All the Women of the Bible. Dr. Lockyer held pastorates in Scotland and England for twenty-five years. As pastor of Leeds Road Baptist Church in Bradford, England, he became a leader in the Keswick Higher Life Movement, which emphasized the significance of living in the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
