Publisher Description:

Lilac the Lavender Lamb is a blissful, peaceful location on a sheep ranch. Lilac is different from the other sheep because she is lavender. Lilac does not like being different, and one lamb bullies her because of it. Her mother and her friends support her.

An early, unexpected snowstorm leaves the sheep stranded in the cold, trapped by a blizzard. Lilac goes in search of the ranchers to seek help. Her lavender color makes her visible in the deep white snow.

The sheep are rescued, and Lilac is now a hero to the ranchers and the other sheep. The bully, Lucinda, now faces her to apologize. Lilac is hesitant to accept her apology, but as Lucinda explains herself, Lilac expresses her own feelings. They begin to laugh together and realize they are going to have a long, lasting friendship.
