| Publisher Description: I know you can overcome the things you're struggling with today, and every day to come. How do you ask? I know because I've been there, I've seen the ugly in the world. I've been hurt by the ugly in the world, and I've taken it and turned it into something truly beautiful, poetry. So, I've compiled all the poems I've written since the first inpatient program I went through as a young child where I participated In a creative writing class. That class and form of therapy changed my life. My hopes and dreams are that whoever is reading this, wherever you're reading this you not only read it you feel it too. I'm hoping that you can take comfort in my words and relate to every simile, metaphor, and idiom within these pages. I hope that whatever precious soul is reading my book can feel in my poetry that you are never alone because I'm only ever gonna be a few steps away.
