Prabhodānanda Sarasvatī gives a completely different interpretation of the verses. Since the Upaniṣads became gopīs, he gives the meaning of the verses in terms of mādhurya rasa, as spoken by those Upaniṣad-gopis. He also gives a meaning according to the eternal gopis. |
