In the quest for answers, I kept remembering the 40 years in the wilderness. You know they stayed that long because they complained. If they had not complained, how much differently things could have been for them. In fact, the complainers did not get to enter into the Promised Land. God gave the land to the next generation. This book represents a time of compromise and a time to find destiny. Looking for destiny came after the cushy place left.
