| Publisher Description: Amy is a young girl living at home with her parents in a small rural neighborhood. She has lived in this house for several years now and has been the only child on the block ever since. Amy has dreamed of having someone to play with for a long time and when someone finally moves into the empty house next door it makes Amy very excited. She can only hope that her new neighbors might have children, perhaps even someone her age. When Amy spots a moving van pulling into the driveway next door, she runs outside and hides in the bushes to try and spy on who is moving in. Sadly, for Amy it was only the moving guys. Only moments later a car pulls up and two adults climb out of the front seat. Amy watches with much curiosity, finally the back door swings wide open and a young boy jumps out of the car. Amy could not believe her eyes, this is exactly what she has been waiting for and now that day has come. Amy's new neighbor Justin is the same age as her and when they meet for the first time a true bond is formed, as if they were meant to be friends. Days after Justin moves in Amy notices a strange light that mysteriously appears in a large pine tree that stands right outside her bedroom window. She has never seen this light before and doesn't have a clue where it is coming from. Amy talks to Justin about this and kindly asks for his help. The two of them, as kids typically do, find their way into complete chaos and mayhem trying to solve this mystery. After some crazy accusations and insane mishaps these young new friends finally find the answer to the mysterious light in Amy's tree. |
