Playing in an ensemble provides musicians with the opportunity to experience the benefits of a group effort not found in solo work. This arrangement of Ode to Joy, the famous theme from the fourth movement of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, is arranged so that all the parts are demanding, not just the first trombone (or lead part), therefore distributing the demands for the success of the group to everyone. This arrangement can be performed in entirety in about 3 minutes. Included with the purchase of the score are individual parts which may be photocopied for use during rehearsals and performances. |
