Being given voice as "the Preacher," Solomon goes on to add, "And further, because the Preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yes, he pondered, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs. The Preacher sought to discover acceptable words, and that which was written uprightly, even words of truth.
