Publisher Description: It is a philosophical journey of knowledge based on real events. There are few books with the same intention that manage to catch the reader. Another book that captures the reader is the one by Carlos Casta eda, "The Teachings of Don Juan". Casta eda's book deals with a certain shamanic path, using drugs and fiction. These three elements differentiate it from my book. How could the book be cataloged?I would call it a work of practical philosophy, which touches the deepest fibers of human emotion. It is like a book of awakening, of Initiation in the concrete jungle of today s cities. What is my intention? To change society, or at least to influence the spiritual traditions of East and West, taking influence of the "person", that is, the mask or ego. The word "person" comes from Latin and means mask. It's not about giving power to the ego, as suggested in many esoteric books, Castaneda's included.Rather, it is about dropping the mask and then finding the way to the truth, which is Book II (the spiritual truth) or the second initiation.I am convinced that many literary concepts by respected authors contribute little to change because they are not read enough by the populace. On the other hand, beautiful poetic expressions lack pragmatism and make readers fall into a deep sleep, instead of dealing authentically with reality.Once this is understood, the reader assimilates and easily finds solutions to the specific problems of society. That's book III (spiritual practice) or third initiation.A few words of introduction can help to spread it better. The foreword was written by Ferdinand (Fernando) Villiger Horat, Engineer ETH Zurich, geographer and president of the Scientific Cultural Association Bulletin of Lima. Fernando Villiger was honored by the Peruvian Chamber of Books for his services as the founder of the above-mentioned bulletin, in which the latest achievements from various fields of science are regularly published. What group of people is the book dedicated to?One would think it is a book for adults. The truth is that in this book the reader encounters another world, full of contradictions, which reflects the reader's own interior. Many of them will discover that they are still at the very beginning in the spiritual field. Older people may use the teachings and journeys they contain as inspiration to turn themselves into "storytellers" for their grandchildren. Some bring back their own inner child, as Don Lucio lives. The young readers will easily identify with Audacio. Why are the insights contained in this book universal?Because we are all one family, even if we do not perceive it. We all share a common destiny. As a Chinese proverb says: mankind did not ask to be born, it does not know exactly how to live and does not want to die. The word "spiritual" in itself is meaningless. Don Lucio and his ancestors were people of practical thinking. |
