The main character is a Latino teen (Quaniqua) who lies in poor, none-nurturing conditions. She becomes bitter and her behavior follows suit, until she meets someone outside of the home, and of a different culture, who finally treats her with respect. Hang in there with Quaniqua through the hard times and see this young lady become a more productive, happier citizen. This story can be enjoyed by children eight years and up; however, use parental wisdom as to if this story is suited for you particular younger child. |
