Publisher Description:
This book is the second of series "Modern Piano Method." Is based on modern music standards of various kinds and aims to help the student get to know them through a simple and understandable way. Through the presentation of techniques and melodic patterns, the student is put to think for themselves and train their mind rather than merely learn to read notes. The method of this book is organized in levels of increasing difficulty. In each level the student finds a set of techniques and music genres and revisits most of them in the next level to work on more demanding features and so on. As a result, upon completion of the syllabus "Levels 4 - 6," the student will have acquired a good first grip on several kinds of music, such as rock'n'roll, blues, swing, pop, Tango, Reggae, reggaeton, ethnic - traditional. By the end of almost each page, the student comes across suggestions on how to study the syllabus. In addition, the last pages of the book contain more chord progressions that the student can use to further practice on a new technique.
