Along the way he encounters demons and ancient gods, the renegade dream detective Diamante Petrus, a boy who can morph into a cobra, a girl who talks to elephants, a poet-philosopher who accompanied Alexander the Great on his conquests, and a beekeeper in ancient Egypt.

Aidan has a lot to learn as a new dream detective. He has help from his dream detective grandparents, their dog KoKo, old and new friends, and teachers of the Way of Wisdom, but he's the one who has to face the ultimate cosmic challenge.
