Publisher Description: Project Preemie started with a challenge put out by the Crochet Guild of America (CGOA) as a chapter challenge. Karen was frustrated to not find many patterns to make Premature Blankets, so she had the idea of coming up with several patterns and compiling them into a book. This is the result of months of seeking, sampling, and creating stitch patterns that would work for premature babies. Keeping in mind that these Premature Babies need blankets that don't have lacy holes to get their fingers, toes, and neonatal equipment stuck into. |
