Joan Burrows won several awards for her first play, Staff Room, upon its first production in 2004. Since then she has written The Photograph, which won an ACT-CO Award for Best New Canadian Play, and Willow Quartet, which received Theatre Aurora's Playwrights Spring Award in 2009. Joan is a retired high-school teacher of English and Dramatic Arts. |
