Publisher Description: David W. McFadden has been exploring the Japanese forms of haiku and tankas for six decades. This is the first full-length collection of his work in those forms. The 400 or so poems in this collection create a mesmerizing overview of his life and his philosophy. With his usual tenderness and humour, he talks of the great tragedies of life and the great moments of whimsy and magic. |
