Publisher Description: This story is a continuation of The Wanderer; A Walk of Redemption. Set five years from the end of the first story, this follows the lives of the characters through bouts of post traumatic stress, violence, and what could be described as vigilante justice. This is a work of fiction dealing with drug influences in small town America and family conflict brought on by a combination of PTSD and volatile outside individuals. The primary characters, Jack, Cindy, and their daughter Mandy face dangers from drug dealing gangs and violence from unexpected sources. Together, with the help of friends and strangers, the small community they live in is saved from the ravages of the outside forces seeking to destroy their way of life. Many of the scenarios portrayed here are not too far out of the realm of possibility as society continues to decay in the time frame of this work. |
