This person, who was a professed atheist, was in the darkest grip of heroin addiction at the time I wrote this letter. What I didn't know, the Holy Spirit did; the night I wrote this letter, the recipient had overdosed on heroin and almost died. I recently came across this letter in a storage box. The wife of the recipient returned it to me because she believed it was divinely inspired and that I should "do something with it." The following publication is my attempt to answer that request.
