Publisher Description: This ministry project was designed to evaluate the rites-of-passages' program at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church in Dayton, Ohio. The problem was the context did not have a positive male role model during early formation of spiritual, physical, and emotional development. The hypothesis was the absence of a strong man in the home could be resolved to a degree by a rites-of-passage program. The methodology used to measure the project was surveys, personal interviews, pre-and post-tests, Bible studies, and journals. Because of this project model, men became actively involved in the development of boys to men rites-of-passage program for the church. |
