Macramé is a way to decorate the house or give it a special flair. For others, it's a hobby they've been practicing for years and enjoy the challenge of becoming more proficient at the craft. For beginners, the challenges can seem inordinate at first, but with a little patience and practice, you can become quite adept at macramé.

When you think of string art, macramé probably isn't what comes to mind. But macramé is an ancient craft that has been around for centuries. It can be used in nearly any creative endeavor, from hanging decorative decorations to making items more durable. It can create beautiful and decorative designs in a short amount of time, and it can be a great learning tool as you learn to create new patterns.

This book covers:

- The Background of Macramé

- Terms Used in Macramé

- Macramé Materials

- Macramé Plant Hangers

- What is Macramé?

- The History of Macramé

- Macramé In the New Century

- What Do You Need for Macramé?

- Terminologies Used

And much more!

Choose a piece of string about 15 feet long (8 meters) and cut it in half. You'll need two sticks about 3 inches (8 centimeters) long, one stick about 4 inches (10 centimeters) long, and one stick about 7 inches (18 centimeters) long. Measure out the length of each stick, and use a ruler or specific measurement tool to make sure you don't have a fraction of an inch worth of string left over on either end. If you do, wrap the extra piece around the rod so that it's not an integral part of the design.
