Contributor Bio(s): Humphreys, Cathy: - Cathy Humphreys is a senior lecturer in Health and Social Work at the University of Warwick. She has worked as a practitioner, researcher and educator in domestic violence and child abuse. Catherine's other research areas include substance misuse, mental health, outreach and advocacy services for both women and children, and child contact.Stanley, Nicky: - Nicky Stanley is Professor of Social Work at the University of Central Lancashire, UK. She researches and writes in the areas of child protection, domestic violence, young people's mental health and interprofessional work.Farrelly, Nicola: - Nicola Farrelly is Research Fellow, University of Central Lancashire, UK.Radford, Lorraine: - Lorraine Radford is Head of Research at the NSPCC in London.Thiara, Ravi: - Ravi K. Thiara is Principal Research Fellow, University of Warwick, UK. She has conducted extensive research in the UK and elsewhere and written widely on violence against women.Verlien, Carolina: - Carolina Överlien, PhD is an Associate Professor at the Institution of Social Work, Stockholm University, Sweden, and a Researcher at the Norwegian Centre for Violence and Traumatic Stress Studies (NKVTS), Oslo, Norway.
